Senrab was closely linked with Chelsea years ago (we even had their physio as our trainer when I played for em. And we used to get their cast off bits of kit. Fuckin hated that!).
But you're right, as times gone on, don't think anyone's gone straight to us? Zamora and Defoe via other clubs eventually, but cant think of any off hand.

Apparently he's got his head screwed on and didn't want to just jump up to Chelsea or wherever and never be seen again. Coventry is a smart move for him.
Saw him playing for D&R last year and you could tell he could be a bit special.

If Jodi Jones is so good, then how come he's playing for bloody Coventry?
Also, just read he used to play for Senrab. Have WHU ever got a player direct from that lot? They always seem to go to any London club, except for us.

Don't understand with transfer deadline / loan deadline plus Europa league why we sent out any of the youngsters until after this game.
Would have given us few more choices, bit of competition for places in the reserves and a decent send off to get a win in the group before they head out on loan.
Can't see why one less game or bench for the loan boys is better for another competitive game for WHU.

Apparently Martinez second was a worldie. Volley with back to goal.
5 goals in 4 games for the development squad.
Should be loaned out in order to get some first team football.
